I cannot open links?

When i click on a link it will bring the box up but nothing will happen, Most the time I can hit stop and refresh and it will work. Im trying to post a quiz on myspace and it won't process the original box, the same goes for any instant msgs that I try to send. Any help before I just chalk it up to a lost cause.

Try tools/ internet options/ general tab/temp internet files

delete files/ delete all offline content ; Then = Tools/ internet options/General tab/ settings = change to every visit to the page/apply/ok/ok

Try tools/internet options/advanced/browsing/reuse windows for launching shortcuts/apply/ok/ok or tools/ internet options/ advanced/ security/ - Uncheck 3 entries at the top of that section of advanced tab/ apply and restart PC.

If your browser, or browser toolbars(e.g. yahoo and google toolbars) blocks pop-ups, this could be the cause (solution: hold down your Shift key, while clicking the link.

But if you see an "error on page" message on the status bar, I suggest you upgrade your browser, or switch to another browser (e.g. firefox)
