BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!! How can I stop liking a fiction charecter?

I watched the movie Outsiders and I really like Soda. I am seriously going crazy. My myspace, hi5, yahoo360 are all about him. On quizilla i take quizzes like: who's your outsiders man, what your outsiders life, who from the outsiders likes you... And I always try and do get Soda. This is getting out of control. I can't stop thinking about him. I imagine so much different stuff i can write a whole book. Nothing possible can distract me exept for tv and when i'm at a party talking and listening. The moment I get quite and stop paying attention to the real world I'm in my fantasy world. This is horrible. My friends are annoyed I try to stop but I just can't.

I was the same thing with Harry Potter. Just wait for yourself to come over it, and maybe try to find a movie that's "better", or something else to absorb yourself in for a while. I didn't really think my "obsession" with Harry Potter was abnormal, but eventually I stopped talking about it and my daily life wasn't always related to things having to do with Harry Potter. Watch other movies with Rob Lowe in them, particularly ones made when he was older. Maybe seeing him portray different kinds of characters will jolt you into the full realization that his Soda character is fictional.

Uhhhh, well, don't really know how to help. I think you should find a real guy in real life that you think is cute, and has a good personality. If you hang out with him and get to know him better, maybe you will really start to like him and forget about Soda. Then you will realize that a guy that you can actually touch, hug, and kiss is much better!

Plus, one-sided love will kill you.

HAHA. its not only u experiencing this...my sis and i are head over heels with characters in the books we read. But we manage to balance it all out ... try to focus your attention in other more realistic things and know that ur not alone... =]]
